How to write a killer description for your fashion rental listing
You’ve uploaded photos and set your rental price - good work – those are the two things that will catch the attention of Borrowers when they’re browsing LOANHOOD. The basics are down (brand, size and colour) but don’t make the mistake of neglecting the description.
Sell it in
Kick off with something about the vibe; Y2k, cottagecore, nu rave? Hype it up, does it attract compliments? How do you feel when you wear it?
Add detail about the fit. It’s the number one doubt Borrowers have, especially for things like jumpsuits where body length is crucial for avoiding camel toe. You can add extra measurements or relate the item to the way it fits you e.g. I’m 5ft9, it’s a good length for someone 5ft6 to 5ft10. Afterall, one person’s mini skirt is another person’s belt.
Add some personality
Borrowers are buying into you, your story, your cool as much as they are buying into the clothes you are renting out so make it your own.
